EWB and CSCE Joint Event

On Sunday September 10, 2023, we volunteered at a trail by the CT Parks & Forest Headquarters in Middlefield, CT. We demolished a rotting bridge and have finished building a new one. See the left image for the new bridge!

Ndaleta, Tanzania

Implementation

In September 2022, our team completed a remote bore hole drilling. In June 2023, members from the NGO Little Voice oversaw the construction of a pump house and solar operated pump. Our efforts have brought water to the community, but we are not done yet, we are planning on implementing additional water projects next year to increase the water supply for the village of over 7,000 people.

Ndaleta, Tanzania Assessment Trip!

On May 15, 2019, a team of (8) HPC volunteers returned from a very successful assessment trip in Tanzania. The village was assessed for a water supply project - and the need is evident in the community. HPC is excited to be partnering with Little Voice and Rehoboth Harvest ministries, as well as the community of Ndaleta, for the next five years!

EWB-HPC Nepal Project Featured in Journal Inquirer

Click here to read about how we used our engineering systems and design-based knowledge to build a solar-powered pipeline to move drinking water up a mountainside in rural Nepal. The resulting project, completed in 2017, gave the village of Sabhung’s 800 residents easier, safer access to drinking water.

Humanity today faces enormous global Challenges.

Billions of people living around the world lack access to clean water, electricity and adequate hygiene and sanitation.

Our vision is a world in which the communities we serve have the capacity to sustainably meet their basic human needs.  Our members are dedicated to enriching global perspectives through the innovative professional educational opportunities that the EWB-USA program provides.
